Entry Log

Log 1:  We met with the principal to discuss potential ideas for our Project Based Learning topic, we concluded we had to bring in a sense of realism to our presentation and bring out the true horrors of warfare but also keep things within a violence level of our age group and the age group of the viewers.

We came across a barrier or two mainly based around the fact that my personal supporting opinion is on the side of a Rebellion/Militia/Mercenaries styled fighting force which is an opinion I am unable to widely express due to their controversial actions.

Log 2: After our restrictions were cleared up we were able to finally begin the production of our presentation.  We began brainstorming ideas to put in the slideshow and were able to come up with many different possible ideas.

Our barriers were easily fixed.  First, we couldn't show material which was too graphic for our audience as this would look bad and possibly scare the more squeamish students, to fix this we just have decided to put disclaimers before graphic images and eliminate most of them.  Our second barrier was the fact the websites we acquire all of our content from was blocked by the schools blocking system which stopped me from accessing a reasonable amount our potential content, to fix this I will have to do the work at home in my own time.

Log 3:  We began making our slideshow with the use of google slides, we are editing the images to improve their sharpness and quality to make them look better on the presentation

I forgot to get the other content at home and now we are again stuck with having to wait until I return home to access the websites.

Log 4:  we had made reasonable progress but we failed to save our editing and we had to restart and do it all over again, but this time we had most things prepared and could do things hastily and easily.

The only problem was the fact we lost our progress but we came back from that reasonably quickly.

Log 5:  On the day we were supposed to present our projects we had to miss out on viewing other presentation in the hope we could finish and edit our video as it was not complete.  We thought we had everything done but we had to download it before we could present and this caused problems as the file was too large for me to save so we had to improvise and used a video from another website.
